Information on treatment and surgery
Re-operative Facial Contouring SurgeryPatients consider re-operating when they are unsatisfied with the results of the surgery. As facial contouring and orthognathic surgery are highly difficult surgical procedures, the surgeon’s thorough treatment planning and abundant experience is critical to the result, which can otherwise lead to dissatisfaction or side effects. Re-operative surgery should be performed after an accurate analysis and diagnosis of the problem from the first surgery. Although re-operative surgery is more difficult than the first surgery, when the objective is clear and thorough treatment planning is completed for a small area, satisfactory results can be expected.
