Long-lasting implant due to personalized bone graft, Bone Graft Implant

Information on treatment and surgery

Bone Graft

A healthy bone is essential when placing implants. For patients that wish to have implants placed but have weak bones or bone resorption. Bone resorption can occur due to chronic periodontitis, pockets of pus at the root of a tooth or extended wear of dentures. A bone graft procedure is completed prior to placement of implants and only after sufficient bone mass has formed, implants are placed. There are cases when bone grafting and implants are done simultaneously, shorting the treatment period, but if the bone is insufficient or weak, implant procedures commence about 3-6 months after the bone grafting. Zeah Dental Hospital can promise successful results of bone grafting and implants, as Zeah’s medical team has accumulated experiences from thousands of implant cases.

Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR)

Guided bone regeneration stimulates the formation of the bone using a membrane simultaneously with bone grafting when there is not enough bone where the implant will be placed.
