Information on treatment and surgery
ZirconiaZirconia method is a prosthodontic treatment, similar to the ‘All Ceramics’ method, which covers the teeth completely for aesthetics. The outer surface of the tooth is removed for the customised piece of zirconia at be attached. Zirconia is an aesthetically superior, high strength, synthetic diamond material which is biocompatible, hence is most appropriate in improving shape, colour and alignment in a short period of time. The only disadvantage would be that once a fracture occurs, it is difficult to reattach or fix.
Cases that require Zirconia:
- Those who want a high strength material
- Patients in need of correcting crooked teeth
- Patients in need of correcting protruding teeth
- Those in need of quick aesthetic correction for marriage, job interview or events

Zeah Doctor’s Guide
Dr. Dong Kyu Lee (Director)
Zirconia method is for those who prefer to minimise functional discomfort but maximise aesthetic results.
The ‘Zirconia’ method is recommended for patients that are not satisfied with the strength level of ceramic materials. Although it comes at a higher price, it has several advantages that may be worth the value on a long-term basis. It has a superior aesthetic and strength factor when compared to ceramic options, minimising any functional discomfort.
